Some 1070 permission for converting and complementing industries have been issued this year while 272 producing units at the capital of 5072 billion Rials have been inaugurated. Iran's export of converting industries products in the first 8 months of the current year has reached 201 million dollars.

The bearue of converting industries is trying to choose the 4 entitled firms to bestow 355 million Euros and has efficient presence in the 5th development plan's meetings. Iran has experienced substantial growth in terms of milk processing and at the moments some 11 million tons of dairy products is being processed.
